Perched right on Henley Square with front-row seats to the sea, Ramsgate Hotel by Nightcap has been pouring beers and good times since 1897 - back when sheep outnumbered punters and the jetty was a loading dock. These days, it’s all about laid-back stays and local flavour, with 17 modern rooms upstairs and the iconic Ramsgate buzz downstairs. Each room has a King Koil bed, smart TV, fridge, air-con and either a private ensuite or shared bathroom setup (your call). There’s free Wi-Fi, a guest lounge with tea and coffee, and that seaside view that never gets old. Hungry? Thirsty? The bar and bistro downstairs have you sorted. Just a heads-up - if you’re bunking in on a Friday, Saturday or long weekend, the party goes loud until 2am. So either join in or pack earplugs.
